Q: Can i download any of the songs in full version in mp3 or .wav file
format?
A: Sorry, you can not. All music snippets are
posted here only in Real Audio format.
Q: Could you make MP3s with some songs I am interested
so we can trade music?
A: I do not promote MP3s trading in
general. Italo artists, producers and recording-studio-teams
always faced very difficult times with nearly NO vinyl/CD-sales.
The picture today is the same. Many artists and producers
depend (for their living) on the income from music, so please
bare these in mind when I stress the importance of buying
the ORIGINALS instead of downloading. If you HAVE the choice,
go for the LEGAL stuff: compilations ("I LOVE DISCO DIAMONDS"
etc.) are widely available. Please support the musicians
and producers and do the right thing. This is the main reason
why "Euroflash" never promoted MP3 trading on the site,
other than music files sanctioned by the authors. Pirating
KILLS your favorite music.
Q: Can I buy a CD-R from you with some of these tunes?
A: Sorry, I am not licensed to sell
CD-Rs (bootlegs).
Q: Where can i find this record?
A: Try GEMM.COM.
Q: Can you help me with a track id?
A: Perhaps, but I would not presume
to know everything. Your best bet would be to try one of
the finest online communities: the message
board @ iventi.net
Q: I subscribed to Euroflash news and have not received
them in a while.
A: Your e-mail address bounced back as 'undeliverable'
and it was removed from the database. You are welcome to
add your active e-mail address.
Q: Why do you ask for my real first
and last name?
A: I'll be brutally honest with you here. Asking people
to supply real names, and a real e-mail address (and an
email confirmation system before your membership is active)
serves one purpose real well, and no, it's not to collect
information to sell to anyone.
It makes for a better community.
It's a proven fact. If people have to submit their real
names, real email addresses, and other personal information,
they tend to post more intelligently, with less "flaming"
than they would if the forums and website allowed anonymous
posting.
I have other reasons too - and again, no, I am not cataloging
your names and contact info to sell to some marketing company
(read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policies
to see how serious I am about protecting your info). Some
of the other reasons include niceties like publishing a
real person's name when they write a great review. I am
makign the design and philisophical decision to attach a
real name to any reviews that are written. Whether real
or not, a "real name" attached to a review lends
credibility to those reviews - Who's review, on the surface
at least, would you rather read: Jack Melvill's Review of
Mr. Zivago, or chubbychecker1234's Review of the Mr. Zivago
:)
I also use your first name and or your last name in
certain templates, email feedback systems etc to give it
that more "personal" touch, even though it's all
automated. :) Hey, perception is reality sometimes.
